SEC. 1357. CERTIFICATES ON FINAL MAP.
§ 1357
Subdivisions must include three certificates on their Final Map: one from the City Attorney, one from the Advisory Agency, and a Certificate of Agreement (signed by the subdivider) listing any conditions to be completed after the map is recorded.
When a property is divided into smaller parcels (subdivided), the official map that shows the new property lines must include three documents. The City Attorney must approve it, the Advisory Agency must approve it, and the person doing the subdivision must sign a certificate agreeing to complete any work or requirements that need to happen after the map is officially recorded.
- Complex:The section references "SMA" (Subdivided Lands Map Act) and "Application Packet" and "Advisory Agency" without defining them, requiring knowledge of other code sections and procedures to fully understand the context.
