SEC. 1321. APPLICATION PACKET.
§ 1321
Before a developer can create a subdivision requiring a Tentative Map, they must first prepare an Application Packet following the procedures outlined in other code sections (1322, 1323, and 1333.2 for vesting tentative maps).
If you want to divide land into smaller parcels (called a subdivision) and the city requires a Tentative Map, your first step is to put together an Application Packet. Other sections of the code explain what documents and information need to go in that packet.
- Could be simpler:The section is largely procedural cross-referencing; it could more directly state what an Application Packet is and what it must contain rather than deferring entirely to other sections.
